Brazilian Agribusiness expands 6% in 2010 first semester

The Brazilian institute of geography and statistics has published a survey about Brazilian agribusiness production, showing an increase of 6% in the first half of 2010. Also the industrial production of sectors related to agribusiness presented 4,4% production increase in the first haft of 2010. These positive numbers are thanks to 2010 harvest, higher exportation volume and prices of some commodities and machinery and equipments production level recovery (50% over the same period of 2009), stimulated by the buying scenario of the agribusiness and agricultural improved income.
